Hello!

My name is Fathima.

I am a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 12 years of diverse clinical experience across multiple medical specialties, including urgent care, pain management, family medicine, emergency medicine, addiction medicine and psychiatry. I hold a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS University and a Bachelor of Science from Georgia State University. I am certified to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide array of psychiatric conditions, including ADHD, Major Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, OCD, PTSD, and Substance Use Disorder. Additionally, I have training in addiction management and am waivered to prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone). I specialize in treatment resistant depression and offer spravato treatments.

My style of providing care is compassionate, patient-centered, and integrative. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey. I utilize a combination of evidence-based approaches tailored to each individual’s unique needs, ensuring that treatment is both effective and personalized.

Some of the core values that guide my work with clients include empathy, respect, and collaboration. I believe that mental health care should be a partnership, where clients are actively involved in decision-making and treatment planning. I also emphasize holistic care, recognizing the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Clients can expect a warm and non-judgmental space where they feel comfortable expressing their concerns. During visit, I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship, helping clients gain insight into their challenges, and equipping them with practical coping strategies. My goal is to provide personalized, evidence-based care that fosters resilience, self-awareness, and long-term mental wellness.

I enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds who are motivated to improve their mental health and overall well-being. I have a particular passion for supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders. I also enjoy working with clients who are navigating life transitions, stress management, and challenges related to self-esteem and personal growth.

One of the strengths I bring to therapy is my ability to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to share their experiences. My integrative approach, which combines evidence-based practices with a personalized treatment plan, ensures that each client receives care that best fits their unique needs. I also bring strong clinical expertise in addiction medicine and treatment-resistant depression, utilizing advanced therapies such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and SPRAVATO™ (Esketamine).

I offer a range of services, including virtual visits, in person visits, evening and weekend hours. My goal is to make high-quality mental health care accessible and effective for every client I work with.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new cuisines, and traveling to experience different cultures. I have a passion for fitness and mindfulness practices, which help me maintain balance in my own life. Reading and continuous learning are also important to me—I love staying up to date on the latest in mental health research and holistic wellness approaches.  When I’m not working, you might find me unwinding with a good book, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or going on long walks. I also have a deep appreciation for music and enjoy attending live concerts whenever I get the chance. Ultimately, I believe in practicing the same self-care that I encourage my clients to incorporate into their lives!
