Hello, I’m Darby Thorne, a Marriage and Family Therapist graduate with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and transitions. I completed my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mercer University, building upon a strong foundation I established with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University. In my practice, I utilize a blend of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy to collaboratively address challenges and work towards attainable goals. For couples, I lean on the Gottman approach to help guide couples through challenges and fostering open communication to create resilient partnerships.

I believe that therapy is a journey where clients are the experts of their own experiences. I’m here to provide guidance, support, and tools as you navigate your path to well-being. With a background in ABA therapy, I bring a diverse skill set to my practice. My client-led, therapist-guided approach ensures that your experiences and needs shape our sessions. I strongly believe that nobody knows you better than yourself, and my role is to help you uncover the tools and insights you already possess. As we work together, my aim is to create an atmosphere of understanding, respect, and collaboration. Each individual’s journey is unique, and I am honored to be a part of yours.

If you’re seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist to accompany you on your journey to greater well-being, I’m here to help. Let’s embark on this path together. I am under direction of Charlie Luther, LPC and supervision of Allison O'Brien LMFT.
